Camera Plus Pro needs permission to use your camera and save your photos or videos. iOS will usually ask for these permissions the first time you use the app.
Required Permissions #
Camera Plus Pro may ask for:
- Camera access to take photos and record video
- Microphone access to record audio with videos
- Photo Library access to save captured media to Photos
If a permission is denied, some features may not work until access is enabled.
Allow Permissions on First Launch #
When you open Camera Plus Pro for the first time:
- Tap Allow when asked for camera access.
- Tap Allow when asked for microphone access if you plan to record video with sound.
- Tap Allow Access to All Photos or Add Photos Only when asked for Photo Library access.
For most users, Add Photos Only is enough if the app only needs to save new photos and videos.
Change Permissions Later #
You can update permissions at any time in Settings:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap Camera Plus Pro.
- Turn on the permissions you want to allow.
- Reopen Camera Plus Pro.
You can also go to:
Settings > Privacy & Security
Then choose Camera, Microphone, or Photos and update access for Camera Plus Pro.
If Camera Access Is Denied #
If camera access is turned off, Camera Plus Pro may show a blank preview or be unable to capture photos and videos.
To fix this:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Privacy & Security.
- Tap Camera.
- Turn on access for Camera Plus Pro.
If Photos Are Not Saving #
If captures are not appearing in Photos:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Privacy & Security.
- Tap Photos.
- Tap Camera Plus Pro.
- Choose Add Photos Only or Full Access.
Then reopen Camera Plus Pro and try saving again.
