9. Troubleshooting First Launch Issues

If Camera Plus Pro does not work as expected the first time you open it, this guide walks through the most common setup issues.

App Opens to a Blank Camera Preview #

A blank preview usually means camera access is not enabled or the camera session could not start.

Try these steps:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Privacy & Security.
  3. Tap Camera.
  4. Turn on access for Camera Plus Pro.
  5. Reopen Camera Plus Pro.

If the preview is still blank, restart your iPhone and try again.

App Cannot Save Photos or Videos #

If captures are not saving, check your permissions and save destination.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Privacy & Security.
  3. Tap Photos.
  4. Tap Camera Plus Pro.
  5. Choose Add Photos Only or Full Access.

Then open Camera Plus Pro and confirm your selected save destination.

Video Records Without Sound #

If videos do not include audio, microphone access may be turned off.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Privacy & Security.
  3. Tap Microphone.
  4. Turn on access for Camera Plus Pro.

Record a short test video to confirm audio is working.

Watch App Does Not Connect #

If the Apple Watch app does not connect to the iPhone app:

  1. Make sure your Apple Watch is unlocked.
  2. Keep your iPhone and Apple Watch close together.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
  4. Open Camera Plus Pro on your iPhone first.
  5. Reopen the Watch app.
  6. Restart both devices if needed.

Restore Purchases Does Not Update #

If purchased features do not appear after restoring:

  1. Confirm you are signed in with the correct Apple ID.
  2. Make sure your iPhone has an internet connection.
  3. Tap Restore Purchases again.
  4. Close and reopen Camera Plus Pro.
  5. Restart your iPhone if the issue continues.

App Crashes or Freezes #

If Camera Plus Pro crashes, freezes, or becomes unresponsive:

  1. Close the app from the app switcher.
  2. Reopen Camera Plus Pro.
  3. Restart your iPhone.
  4. Check that iOS is up to date.
  5. Make sure your device has available storage.
