Camera Plus Pro can save captured photos and videos using the save destination selected in the app. This article explains how to check or change where new captures are stored.
Open Save Destination Settings #
- Open Camera Plus Pro.
- Open the capture settings or defaults screen.
- Find the Save Destination option.
- Choose where you want new photos and videos to be saved.
The exact options may depend on your app version and the permissions enabled on your device.
Common Save Destinations #
Camera Plus Pro may support saving to:
- Photos for access in the iPhone Photos app
- Files or a selected folder, if folder saving is enabled
- A previously selected default destination
Choose the option that best matches how you want to organize your media.
Saving to Photos #
If you save to Photos, your captures should appear in the Photos app after they finish saving.
If they do not appear:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Privacy & Security.
- Tap Photos.
- Tap Camera Plus Pro.
- Choose Add Photos Only or Full Access.
Then reopen Camera Plus Pro and try again.
Saving to a Folder #
If Camera Plus Pro allows folder saving, you may be asked to choose or confirm a folder before captures can be saved there.
When choosing a folder:
- Pick a location you can easily find later.
- Avoid moving or deleting the folder while using it as your save destination.
- If saving fails, choose the folder again in Camera Plus Pro.
Changing the Default Destination #
If you frequently save to the same location, set it as your default save destination.
This helps Camera Plus Pro use the same save behavior each time you capture a photo or video.
If Captures Are Saved Somewhere Unexpected #
If you cannot find a photo or video:
- Check the current save destination in Camera Plus Pro.
- Look in the Photos app.
- Check the Files app if folder saving is enabled.
- Search by the most recent date or time.
- Try taking a new test photo and confirm where it appears.
