This article explains how to record your first video in Camera Plus Pro.
Before You Begin #
Make sure Camera Plus Pro has permission to use your camera and microphone.
To check permissions, open:
Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera
and
Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone
Then make sure Camera Plus Pro is enabled.
Record a Video #
- Open Camera Plus Pro.
- Switch to video mode if the app is not already in video mode.
- Frame your subject in the camera preview.
- Tap the record button to start recording.
- Tap the stop button when you are finished.
- Wait for the video to finish saving before closing the app.
After recording, Camera Plus Pro saves the video using your current save settings.
Recording Audio #
If microphone access is enabled, Camera Plus Pro can record audio with your video.
If microphone access is denied, videos may be recorded without sound.
To enable microphone access:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Privacy & Security.
- Tap Microphone.
- Turn on access for Camera Plus Pro.
Check Where the Video Was Saved #
Depending on your settings, videos may be saved to:
- The Photos app
- A selected folder or location
- Another configured save destination
If you cannot find a recording, check your save destination settings inside Camera Plus Pro.
If Recording Does Not Start #
If the record button does not work or recording stops unexpectedly:
- Confirm camera and microphone permissions are enabled.
- Make sure your iPhone has enough available storage.
- Close and reopen Camera Plus Pro.
- Restart your iPhone if the issue continues.
If the Video Does Not Save #
If a video does not appear after recording:
- Wait a few moments for saving to complete.
- Check your selected save destination.
- Confirm Photo Library or file access permissions are enabled.
- Make sure your device has enough storage.
- Try recording a short test video.
